At TANTRUM Lures we’re all about quality. We’re meticulous with the testing and refining of our shapes to ensure you the best possible chance of drawing aggressive bites from the biggest marlin out there. These values are built in to every single lure we create.

TANTRUM Lures are created with the sole purpose of enticing the most aggressive bites from the biggest marlin that swim the world’s oceans. While we do put a great deal of effort in to making a beautiful looking lure, our number one priority is making a lure that will run perfectly and perform at the highest standard. When you pick up a TANTRUM lure you know that it has been tested and refined to the nth degree with the tick of approval from some of the world’s most meticulous captains.

We don’t skimp on anything when it comes to making the world’s highest quality big game fishing lures. Our resin is the clearest and strongest that money can buy and won’t chip or crack like some other brands. Our inserts feature the most beautiful mother of pearl shell and the flashiest reflective tapes. The vinyl skirts on our larger lures are hand cut and tied on with precision to bring out the best action in the lure head. Our smaller lures are skirted with the highest quality Yamashita and Yozuri skirts. From start to finish, every component that goes in to a TANTRUM lure is of the highest standard to ensure that the final product is unbeatable.

We fish. We fish hard. I’ve been fortunate enough to work in some of the world’s best blue marlin fisheries throughout the Pacific. Throughout this time and still to this day I have been like a sponge, absorbing knowledge from the incredible captains and crew I work with, as well as studying and mastering the intricacies of lure fishing to maximise results. This process has been an integral part of what has made TANTRUM Lures the big fish killers they are today.

We have more than just our own experience to draw on. We’re lucky to have the experience and expertise of some of the world’s best lure fishermen that assist with the testing of our shapes and provide constant feedback to ensure that we’re always one step ahead of the competition.
