Cookie Sets State Record For Most Blue Marlin Caught In One Day!

A big congratulations to the team on the 56′ Viking Cookie for setting the New South Wales state record for the most blue marlin released in a day! Captain Daniel Klein with crew Nick Durham and their team of anglers from the Port Hacking Game Fishing Club released eight blue marlin from eight bites during day two of the Port Stephens Billfish Shootout tournament. All the fish were between 200 to 350 pounds and caught by IGFA rules. The hot lures for the day were the XL KABOOM, XL PLUNGER, Large BANDIT, Large BULLET and Medium BULLET!
