A big congratulations to the team on the 38′ Scarborough Pursuit for equalling the record for the most blue marlin caught in a day’s trolling in Kona! Captain Jason Holtz with crew Nick Durham and their clients for the day released seven blue marlin from seven bites. This equals the most ever caught in a day’s trolling in Kona’s 70+ year history. The record is also held by Captain Carlton Taniyama on the 54′ Spencer Five Star. The hot lures for the day were the XL BANDIT, XL PLUNGER, Large AMN and Large BULLET!
