The Cookie 8 Blues Spread is the spread that was used by Port Hacking boat Cookie to catch a record breaking eight blue marlin in a day during the 2018 Port Stephens Billfish Shootout. With Captain Daniel Klein at the helm of the 56′ Viking and owner Murry Offord’s team of anglers, the boys had an incredible day releasing eight blue marlin from eight bites as well a spearfish. Every lure in this spread caught at least one blue marlin on the day. This spread really covers all bases in terms of size, action and color and is all you really need to achieve blue marlin success in your fishery!
